Your business card will never change again. Your details can.
Hold the card to a phone, your contact page opens, the contact is saved. The day your number changes, you edit the page — not the two hundred cards already handed out.
Three situations where a paper card costs you dearly.
One line edited, not a box of cards to bin
A new area code, a new mobile number, a site that relocates: normally, everything left in the drawer goes in the bin and the cards already handed out become wrong. Here, you correct the contact page and the cards in circulation are accurate again the same evening.
The card stays, the person changes
The address stored in the chip does not contain its holder's name — that is deliberate. You reassign the card to their successor from your account area, without sending it back to us and without reprogramming anything.
Nothing to re-type, on either side
The person you are talking to taps “Add to contacts”: you are in their address book with your photo, address and LinkedIn link. No crumpled card at the bottom of a pocket, no data entry the following Monday.
From order to pocket, in four steps.
You order the number of cards you need
One per employee. Payment is made online; no account to create, no password to remember.
You receive a link to fill in the contact pages
As many slots as cards ordered. You fill them in by hand, or import an Excel or CSV file — useful when there are thirty employees to enter.
Everyone completes their own
Each employee receives a personal link to check their details and add their photo. That link opens only their own contact page, never anyone else's — and you do not have to chase people for photos.
We program the chips and ship the cards
The cards arrive ready to use. They work immediately, even if a contact page has not yet been filled in: the page can be completed later without the card having to come back.
What the other person sees.
A plain, uncluttered page, designed for a phone held in one hand, that opens in a second even on the saturated network of an exhibition hall.
- Your photo, or your initials if you prefer
- Name, job title, second job title, company
- Landline and mobile, callable with one tap
- E-mail address
- Postal address, which opens directions
- Website and LinkedIn profile
- “Add to contacts” button — vCard file including the photo
- “Share” button and QR code for phones without NFC
- Custom fields if you ask for them: on-call duty, certification, languages spoken
- Automatic dark mode, following the other person's phone settings
Five euros a card. That is all.
NFC business card
- The chip card, programmed by us
- Your online contact page
- Hosting of the page
- Edits, for life
- Reassignment to a successor
- No subscription, no renewal
The trade-off, stated plainly
Without a subscription, a page hosted indefinitely would end up costing us more than it ever brought in. A card that has not been scanned for forty-five days therefore triggers a first e-mail warning, a second at sixty, and then its page is put to sleep at ninety.
No data is deleted: the page can be switched back on with one click from your account area, without reprogramming the card. And if someone scans a dormant card, we are notified within the second — a sign that it is still in circulation.
Why the card costs five euros.
Every contact page carries a “Powered by Indusiax” line at the bottom. That is what covers the difference: we sell these cards at cost price, and what we gain is that an industrial company receiving your card learns that we exist.
If that line bothers you, just say so: we remove it and display your logo instead. We would rather see a card in a prospect's hands than a card left unsold.
Already know our software?
Then you know how we work. If not, this card is the simplest way to get to know us — and the one that commits you least.
What people ask us.
Do you need an app?
No, on neither side. The card opens an ordinary web page. You hold the card to the phone, a notification appears, you open it. The other person has nothing to install, and neither do you.
What if the other person's phone has no NFC?
Every contact page carries a QR code that can simply be photographed. It is the fallback for an older iPhone, an Android phone with NFC turned off, or someone who prefers to use the camera.
How long does it take to receive the cards?
We program and ship as soon as your contact pages are filled in. Allow a few working days. The pages themselves are online immediately: you can already share the link by e-mail while you wait for the post.
Who can see my contact page?
The people you hand the card to. The address is a string of twelve randomly generated characters, impossible to guess, and the pages are excluded from search engines. Treat it like a paper card: it goes wherever you hand it out.
What if I want more cards later?
You re-enter your company code when ordering, and the new cards join your existing account area instead of opening a second one.
Mostly, we make software.
These cards are a small sideline to our real business: four software products for small and mid-sized industrial companies, designed by an industrial company that uses them every day.
And Contiax, free, for scanning the business cards you are given — the exact opposite of this one.
